STEP 1 : Phone Consultation
Tell me about your child’s history, strengths, and challenges, along with your vision and goals. Please don’t hesitate to ask questions and/or voice any concerns.
STEP 2 : Student Assessment
Together, we will review your child’s academic levels with any outside evaluations, teacher input, and/or work samples. Together, we will create a tutoring plan that that takes into account your child’s current needs as well as your goals. I can also provide additional evaluations.
STEP 3 : Tutoring
I provide evidence-based tutoring and give thorough lesson reviews after each lesson. During every lesson, data is recorded and tracked.
STEP 4 : Growth Reports
At your request, I write a report which includes our tutoring history, instructional practices and/or techniques, and student progress notes. This can be helpful to coordinate services for your student and can be particularly useful if your student is completing the school IEP process, which often requires Response to Intervention type data.
